What is Spinning?
Spin classes mean that you’ll be riding on an indoor stationary bike. These classes generally last anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour, and some are more intense than others. In some classes, you’ll just break an easy sweat with consistent, but easy, riding. This is ideal for people with joint issues or exercise beginners. In other classes, you’ll stand, sit, increase speed, increase resistance, and do other things to help you push your limits.
What Body Parts Are Targeted with Spinning? If you want to work out your quads, hamstrings, glutes, core, and calves, spinning is for you! Spinning can help you achieve your figure goals without putting stress on your joints. It’s a great workout for losing fat and has also been shown to help reduce headaches and migraines for many people.
What Do You Need for Spinning Class at Fitness Zone? All you need is a good pair of workout shoes! However, spinning always works up a sweat, so we do recommend moisture-wicking clothing and a hand towel to drape over the handlebars for your comfort. Be sure to bring some water!
